Begijnhof:

The Begijnhof is one of the oldest hofjes in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was established by a circle of people who had the same faith. It is under the UNESCO because of the beautiful and unique buildings. In the past, it was surrounded by canals. Now it is one of the main tourist attractions in Amsterdam because of it’s uniqueness and oldness.

Leidseplein, Stadsschouwburg:

The Leidseplein square is the perfect place for you if you want to experience the nightlife of Amsterdam. The biggest building on the square is the Stadsschouwburg theatre, make sure you visit it!

Hash Marihuana and Hemp museum:

In the past few years, Amsterdam became the city of freedom. If you would not like to dream with open eyes you should be very careful where you are buying cookies and drinks, because most of the “Coffeeshops” sell weed. It is the perfect city to learn more about these drugs, visit this museum!

Rijksmuseum:

The national museum of the Netherlands. It is world-famous because of the number of Vincent Van-Gogh and Rembrandt paintings and it is the country’s biggest library of arts. It is breathtaking! If you would like to maximalize your time and skip the huge lines it is worth to book your tickets beforehand.

Van Gogh Museum:

Although the Rijksmuseum has the biggest and most famous collection of paintings, you should also consider visiting the original museum, where you can find special pieces of Van Gogh drawings and paintings. You can also book your tickets online, also you can pair up your tickets and save some money!

Canal cruises are a big thing in Amsterdam. You can choose a sight-seeing cruise or even a wine-and-dine cruise in the evening. Even, you can rent a whole boat for yourself. The cruises are a good thing to get an overall look at the city. Do not miss it, if you are in the city.

Keukenhof:

If you are willing to travel a little bit from Amsterdam, and you are visiting the place in early and middle spring you can find one of the most magical things on earth. The Netherlands is really famous because of the tulips, but a picture can not show you how it looks when the ground is a colorful carpet. Keukenhof actually means “kitchen garden” but this place is nowhere near to its meaning.
